Getting excited!

We are getting much closer to launching our book! There have been months of behind-the-scenes work. We finalised the manuscript near the end of 2023, started on layout and design, then decided to take a step back after feedback from some readers who got the text early convinced us there were a few things missing. We re-finalised the manuscript, finished layout and internal design, and now we have settled on a cover design we love! There are still a few tweaks to go but soon that will be finished and we can work on a publication timeline.

We are so excited to share Thongs or Flip Flops? with you all! It is full of stories and stats from hundreds of Australians who grew up overseas, and we have done our best to honour their stories, struggles, and triumphs.
