Tanya Crossman
Tanya Crossman is the Director of Research and International Education at TCK Training. She has mentored teens since 1999 and has 18 years’ experience working with Third Culture Kids and globally mobile families. Tanya is known around the world for her writing and research, which explore the experiences of people raised internationally. She has delivered training to groups in various sectors on five continents.
Tanya is the author of Misunderstood: The Impact of Growing Up Overseas in the 21st Century (2016), and lead author of three white papers researching the impact of global mobility in children: Caution and Hope: The Prevalence of Adverse Childhood Experiences in Globally Mobile Third Culture Kids (2022), TCKs at Risk: Risk Factors and Risk Mitigation for Globally Mobile Families (2022), and Sources of Trauma in International Childhoods: Providing Individualized Support to Increase Positive Outcomes for Higher Risk Families (2023).
Outside of work Tanya enjoys music, painting, reading fantasy and scifi, cooking, watching TV with her husband, and bragging about/spoiling her eight nieces and nephews.

Kath Williams
Kath is a professional social worker with an enduring passion to work alongside Third Culture Kids as they grow and develop and to see them thrive. She is currently employed as a Third Culture Kid Advocate by two missionary organisations in Australia.
Kath has 20 years’ experience working with children and teens, including working with indigenous communities, foster children, and community campsites. She also spent two years in Cambodia where she had a role in the student support team at Hope International School and volunteered at the local international church youth group with middle school and high school students.
When Kath is not working you can catch her going out for coffee and food with friends, exploring with her camera, going to any zoos she can, reading, listening to music, and travelling as much as she can.
